Candle Holder/Trinket Table

Materials needed:

Fleurons font - download here. If anyone knows who made this font, please email me. I know it's available at a gazillion archives but I'd like to credit the artist.

Blade Pro - get it here

Blade Pro Preset - download Browniron or Greenflecked.

The teddy tube in the right hand side graphic is from Jan's Tubes - she has some fabulous ones!

1. New image 400x400. Flood fill with colour of your choice if desired.

2. Fleuron font, small "z", size 200, foreground and background both white.

3. Apply a blade pro preset. Deselect. In this one, I have used the msr_browniron preset. For the one on the right hand side at the top of the page, I used the msr_greenflecked preset.

4. Image---->flip. Place to the bottom left side of screen.

5. Edit---->copy, edit---->paste as new layer. Image----> mirror. With mover tool  move it over till it's touching the first one and aligned top and bottom.

6. Select your deformation tool and holding down the SHIFT key, push in (not down) at the top right corner and then at the bottom right corner, where the arrows in my example are. What you are doing is making that leg look like it is at the back. Sharpen if desired.

TIP: I went ahead and did the front right leg (next step) and used that as a guide to see how the deformation was working. All you do is turn the layer of the front right leg off (layer 4) while doing the deformation and then turn it on to see how it looks. If you need to push the sides in a bit more, you don't have to undo your original deformation, just do another one.

7. Edit---->paste---->as new layer (you should still have the original leg on your clipboard. If not, go to layer 2 and Copy, then click on layer 3 and paste as new layer). Image----> mirror. Now align it with the left front leg.

8. click on layer 3. Edit---->copy, Edit---->paste----> as new layer. Image---->mirror. (You might find it easier to turn off visibility on layers 2 and 4 to do this step. Don't forget to turn visibility back on when you are done)

9. Turn off visibility of layer 1 and, making sure you are on one of the other layers, Layers---->Merge---->Merge Visible. Turn visibility of layer 1 back on. Name your merged layer "legs". Using the mover tool, move your legs to the center bottom of the window.
