11. Selections----->modify----->expand by 1. Apply the same sculpture preset used in step 9. Move into place as shown in the picture below and deselect.
12. Edit----->copy; Edit----->paste as new layer. Image----->mirror and move into place on the right hand side. Deselect.
13. With magic wand select inside the frame. Selections----->modify----->expand by 3. Add new raster layer and flood fill with the metallic gradient at a 45 degree angle, repeats 0.
14. Image----->Noise----->add 3 percent uniform. Move the layer below the frame layer.
15. Add a picture of a person if desired. Do this on a new raster layer and move the opacity slider to soften the image. In this one, I used opacity of 43.
16. Add a background colour of your choice and merge layers and save. I found that saving as a transparent gif really messed with the mirror part, so I saved as a jpeg instead. You could also make a tube of it to use in future graphics; if you do this, delete the background layer before merging and exporting as tube.
Variations:
This one, I used the Deco Dividers dingbat, capital G, size 26 for the sides. Before applying the mahogany sculpture, I moved it into position and using the deform tool, lengthened and narrowed it to fit. For the top, I used the Corners2 dingbat, capital B, size 80 and used the deform tool on it a bit.
I'm not as fond of this one, but it does illustrate what can be done. The top is a blade pro preset and I used the Printer Ornaments dingbat, letter capital Y size 42. I duplicated it and moved them together and then flipped before placing on top of the mirror.
I'm sure you can come up with other and better variations. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial. :)
