This tutorial was created in PSP 7 but can easily be used in version 6. Due to image resizing for faster loading, quality has been compromised. You will have better quality when you are doing the tutorial.
1. New image 200 x 100 and flood fill with white
2. Effects---->texture effects---->weave, using these settings:
3. Zoom in about 1 or 2 times and using the selection tool, select one white square as shown below (the black circle inside the red circle is supposed to be the marching ants):
4. Selections---->Modify---->Select Similar. Edit---->clear. Deselect.
There is your screen. Simple, eh? This makes a seamless pattern - save in .psp format and use as a pattern for your flood fill tool. You can use it to make windows, screen doors, fishing nets etc. If you'd like to know how I made the screen in a frame you see at the top of this page, please go to page 2.
