26. Add a new raster layer and name it "bubble". Using the bubble tube,
place a bubble in the middle of the face, and use the deform tool
to get it to fit the inside of your gold outer frame. Because this layer is
below the Outside Face layer, you can go over a bit and it will not show. (If,
for some reason, you are above the Outside Face layer, just drag the Bubble
layer below it). Lower the opacity, I put mine down to 30.
If you want you can duplicate and save this for use with a different watch band at another time. You could also use it as a wall clock if you delete the "Knob" layer.
27. Image--->Canvas Size - make it 250 wide and 350 height, centred vertically and horizontally. Making sure you are on the Outside Face layer, add a new layer and name it "connector". At the top of the watch face, on the outside, draw a fairly thick ellipse. Flood fill with white and apply the gold shiny preset. I changed the radius to 43 and height to 20 - you might want different figures depending on the size you drew the connector. Move the connector in better position if needed and drag this layer down underneath the outer watch layer.
28. Duplicate the connector layer and Image--->Flip. Do a save on the image and put aside for a minute.
29. Open a new image 100 x 100. Go to your preset shapes tool and select the first heart image (or one of the other two if you prefer). Set your line width to 6, your foreground colour to white and the background to "null". Make sure "retain style" and "create as vector" is unchecked. Starting in the top left corner, draw a heart, making it as wide and long as you want.
30. Selections--->Select All. Using your magic wand, touch on the white outline to select it. Apply the original gold shiny preset; the only change I made was to move the glare to 94.
31. Image--->Canvas size width 100 height 150, centre vertically and horizontally both checked. Add new layer and with the selection tool, draw a small circle at the top right hump of the heart. Flood fill with white and apply the gold shiny preset with no changes.
32. Duplicate this layer and Image--->Mirror. Duplicate this new layer and move the hump into the middle making sure it just touches on both sides. (you may have to move your other two in a bit).
Now, making sure you are on the center connector layer, Image--->Flip. You may want to move it down just a bit.
33. Layers--->Merge Visible. Edit--->Copy. Now, go to your main watch image and Edit--->Paste as new layer. Place this link on the bottom connector.
Edit --->Paste as new selection and move this link to the bottom of the first link.
Keep doing this Edit--->Paste as new selection and moving into place until you have all the links you want.
34. Layers--->Duplicate. On the duplicate layer, Image--->Flip and move into place at the top of the watch face.
35. Add a new rastor layer and draw a rectangular selection on the end of the bottom link. Apply the original gold shiny preset.
36. Layers---Duplicate. On the duplicate layer, Image--->Flip. Image---Resize to a smaller size. I did it to 65%. Move into place at the end of the chain.
37. Turn off your bottom layer and Layers--->Merge visible. You can delete the bottom layer and tube the watch or fill the bottom layer with a colour of your choice for a picture.
You can come up with other ideas for the chain, I'm sure. Below is one done with gold elliptical links. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy!
