Fall Welcome Wreath Page 2

11. Take your lasso tool set to freehand, feather 0, antialias checked,
and draw a triangle on the right side. Do not worry about being exact, we
want this to look a little rough.

Edit--->Clear or hit your delete key and deselect.

12. Repeat step 11 on the left side of the sign.

13. Apply an inner bevel, Pillow preset and change the elevation to 30.

14. Stay on this layer, and take your Text tool and apply text, using your
wood pattern as the colours.

I used the Comic Sans MS font at size 40, floating and antialias checked. Position the text in the middle of the sign and keep selected.

15. Effects--->3D Effects--->Cutout. Use these settings: Vertical and Horizontal - 2, Opacity - 80, Blur 6 or play around with it to get the settings you want. Apply the cutout again, changing the vertical and horizontal to -2

16. Click on your background layer and add a new layer, naming it "wires 1". Take your draw tool , set to Single line, width 4, antialias checked, create as vector and close path UNchecked. Draw two white lines connecting the sign to the wreath. (I changed my background colour to black to see)
Effects--->Texture Effects--->Sculpture (in PSP 6.x Image--->Effects--->Sculpture. Use the silver preset, changing the depth to 15.

17. Add a new layer and name it "wires 2". With the line tool, draw two lines
over the sign as shown in the image below:

Apply the same sculpture.

17. Add new layer and name it "nail". Draw a white circle where the two wires meet
and apply the sculpture again, changing the depth to 7.

18. Turn off or delete your background layer, merge visible and now you have your
welcome sign to tube or use in images.

Enjoy!
